Publishing Ethics

Texts submitted for publication are first reviewed by the internal editorial board and then evaluated by the editors of the series in which they are to appear. If the initial evaluation is positive, we begin the peer review process, either for the entire volume or for individual chapters (the latter is possible in the case of edited volumes with contributions by multiple authors).

If necessary, we employ the anti-plagiarism software as part of the editorial procedure.

To ensure the highest scientific quality of our publications, we follow the ethical guidelines promoted by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Further details can be found on the COPE website (https://publicationethics.org/). We work in close collaboration with authors and editors to ensure that all published materials comply with COPE’s ethical standards, especially regarding:

selection of texts for publication in accordance with editorial policies and copyright law;

elimination of any conflicts of interest or discrimination

use of peer review to evaluate texts for publication;
